About to get on a plane to a city where the weather is going to be hot!!! Want to stay comfortable before getting changed to something fancy for the Marimekko store launch.
For the Marimekko launch I wore:
- dress, made by me out of Marimekko fabric "Seerieni" from 1965.
- Pom pom head piece, made by me.
- Ugglebo clogs, purchased in March 2012 for $150USD
- Black clutch bag, purchased from Century 21 in NYC for approximately $15USD
My dress got many comments on the evening and I was proud to wear something that I made and also that was vintage based!
