Purchases November 2012

I think that I failed a little this month in curbing my purchases...

I bought a new necklace from a local designer for $54 AUD.
I bought up in Marimekko in Sydney at the launch - a total of $805AUD.
I bought a dress for a costume party from the opshop for $12AUD.
I bought 4 new dresses from Marimekko for about $750USD.

I also bought 6 new pairs of shoes for a total of $150AUD and 3 new gym tights for $150.  Both purchases had huge markdowns on them.

Sigh, what a month... I think I need to scale back big time!

This was my outfit when I hit the studio in the morning.  It was a top of about 38 degrees Celsius!

I then had a 50th Birthday party to go to and luckily the weather had really calmed down - I think it dropped about 15 degrees!  Woo hoo!

Melbourne weather has been so up and down recently and I have been having so many meetings in the city or with artists or seeing new shows.  I have had to be quite 'dressed up' of late!

De-Cluttering the Closet - December 2012

I did do some de-cluttering.  Out went:

• 3 dresses
• 1 skirt
• 1 jacket
• 1 clutch purse

I sold them all on ebay for $108.84!  Yay!

I adore this new dress.  There is something about it that makes me feel pretty awesome and it has received so many compliments.  It's a definite new favourite.

This is one of my favourite dress patterns and it is super comfy in the warmer weather.  It's 'casual Friday' at work so I've teamed it with dirty old VANS to stay comfortable.  Also, I'm having to move stuff today so there will be lots of running around!
